This one-page self-assessment poses six questions in each of four key areas of energy use: behavior, electricity, heating and cooling and water, and your building envelope. Working through it is one of the simplest ways to see where your house of worship can reduce the most energy for the least effort, and where to begin.
A “yes” to each question is the goal for effective environmental stewardship. An “unsure” or “no” is not a failure; it is a prompt, and an invitation to begin the work on that everyday action.
