William (Bill) Clary lives in Newburyport, MA with his wife, Beth, a writer. Education and jobs took the couple from their Massachusetts high schools to Northfield, MN; Washington, DC; Philadelphia, PA;Tulsa, OK; and now Newburyport, MA. Their two children are successfully launched and currently live in MA and CO. Bill works as the President/CEO of Pacific AgriTec, LLC, a company working to produce algae for commercial sales and reduce CO2 from the air and industrial emissions (www.pacificagritec.com ). Bill volunteers with Massachusetts Interfaith Power and Light as their Board Treasurer, the FRS Unitarian Universalist Green Team and Habitat for Humanity work group, and the Newburyport City Energy Advisory Committee.
Bill grew up in New Hampshire andMassachusetts and attended Carleton College in Minnesota where he received aBachelor of Arts in Chemistry in 1981. After a brief tour sellingcorporate medical and life insurance plans, he went back to college andreceived his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University ofMinnesota in 1990. He has held a variety of interesting positions includingbar tender; pizza chef; insurance sales; painting contractor; catalyst R&D;technical service; sales and marketing, and corporate management. Bill wasa founder and former Managing Director at MIRATECH Corporate based in Tulsa, OKwhich manufactures and sells catalysts, silencers, heat recovery and controlsystems for industrial engines. Bill is a founder and investor in PHYCO2LLC, and Pacific AgriTec, LLC. He hasbeen involved in corporate management and community boards since 1992.
