Aliza is joining MassIPL for Summer 2026 as the Clean Energy Outreach and Engagement Intern. Aliza recently earned their B.A. in Computer Science, completing an honors thesis that engaged algorithmic research in food justice work. Aliza has previous experience with Jewish climate organizing with Jewish Youth Climate movement, and after working in 2025 for the Town of Charlotte to evaluate costs for residents to adopt solar and heat pumps, Aliza is excited to help Massachusetts houses of worship on their journey to geothermal heating and cooling. In their free time, Aliza loves to read, go on long walks, and play ultimate frisbee.
