Solar for Your Congregation: Claim Up to 40% in Federal Funding

Houses of worship may qualify for a federal "direct pay" incentive covering up to 40% of a solar project, but it ends December 31, 2027. Join MassIPL on September 22 at 7 p.m. to learn how it works, plus get a free preliminary solar evaluation for your building.

Many people don't realize that houses of worship may still qualify for a federal "direct pay" incentive that can cover up to 40% of the cost of a solar project. The catch is timing: this incentive is scheduled to end December 31, 2027, so now is the time to learn what's possible.

Join MassIPL on Tuesday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m. to learn how direct pay works and what your house of worship can do to take advantage of this opportunity.

This webinar will help you:
  • Understand how the federal direct pay benefit works
  • Learn the key steps involved in developing a solar project
  • Establish milestones to keep your project moving forward
  • Learn about MassIPL's newest solar partner, New England Clean Energy

A special benefit for all registrants: New England Clean Energy will provide a preliminary, no-obligation evaluation of your house of worship's solar potential. You'll receive ballpark project costs and an estimate of how much electricity your property could generate, helpful information to get the conversation started with your congregation, board, or leadership team.

MassIPL has helped more than 60 houses of worship install solar. If your community has ever considered going solar, this is a good time to learn what's possible and understand how much federal funding may be available.

Presenters:
  • Alan Sherman, Solar Advisor, MassIPL
  • David Kleinschmidt, Commercial Solar Design Consultant, New England Clean Energy

The session will be recorded, so register even if you can't attend live and we'll send you a recording to watch later.
