Join us as we gather local faith communities and nonprofit partners to host “Hope Takes Root” Creation Care Service Day and Tree Planting Celebration at Costello Park. This event will bring together local churches, community members, volunteers, and partner organizations for a day of service, environmental stewardship, and community connection. Volunteers will help plant trees, learn about creation care, and participate in educational opportunities focused on caring for the environment and strengthening the Lawrence community.

“Hope Takes Root” is designed to remind the community that caring for creation is both a practical responsibility and a spiritual calling. By planting trees, participants will help improve local green space, support neighborhood beauty, and contribute to a healthier environment for future generations.
