Dear Friends,
We're thrilled to share our all-new website for massipl.org. We wanted a digital home that could clearly communicate who we are as an interfaith climate network, and how our work together for a just and livable future helps make a difference for individuals and communities across the state.
Just about everything on the new website is, well, new! You'll find refreshed colors and fonts, brighter photos of our work across the Commonwealth, an interactive history of MassIPL, and much more. The website is available in Spanish and designed to be readable across all kinds of devices. It's built around the three-part mantra at the heart of everything we do: Pray, Act, Mobilize.
We hope you like it as much as we do!
On our Initiatives page, our work is now organized so you can browse by how MassIPL can help you and your faith community take the next step for our shared climate. Here you'll find ways to connect spirituality with issues of climate and the environment, take concrete action to green your house of worship, and mobilize your community to make a difference.
We've fully digitized our Success Stories so you can read what congregations across the state have taken on over the years, especially decarbonization projects and clean energy upgrades. Since our founding in 2002, we've helped hundreds of congregations live out their values in concrete, material ways. Get inspired, and see what your house of worship could do next!
Our new About pages share our mission, vision, and values, along with the story of how MassIPL has grown into a statewide interfaith climate network. Whether you're new to our work or have been part of it for years, it's a good place to see where we've been and where we're headed.
And when you're ready to take a next step, we've made it simpler to join as a member congregation, with a beautiful new page that explains our streamlined process.
So much labor and many rounds of revision went into this website, with more additions and updates still to come. We send our tremendous thanks to the team at Two By Sixteen Design, a Massachusetts-based design firm, for their creativity and patience in bringing this new home to life.
Finally, this project was funded in part by Interfaith America through its Interfaith Innovation Fellowship. MassIPL Executive Director Rev. Michael Reed was named a 2025–2026 Innovation Fellow. Their support is also making possible our upcoming "Sustainable Faith" series this fall!
