MassIPL is a network of 250+ member congregations across the Commonwealth putting their values into action on climate. To join as a member, you pledge to take at least one meaningful climate action as a congregation each year, in line with our "Pray, Act, Mobilize" framework. As you do, we'll assist and amplify your efforts with the expertise, resources, and the grassroots power of our wider network.
Host a climate event or message series; invite MassIPL to preach, teach, or present; or intentionally bring faith and climate conversations into your worship and learning.
Lower the carbon emissions of your house of worship through an energy assessment and clean energy improvements. We'll guide you throughout the process.
Join or lead a campaign for climate justice and sound public policy, in your community or on Beacon Hill, alongside MassIPL and our partners.
We invite every congregation to go above and beyond with an annual contribution, as part of their commitment to local climate action and environmental justice.
Many congregations support us by taking up a special collection, becoming a monthly mission partner, or giving through a grant program or discretionary fund.
Others make a yearly contribution, typically between $100 and $500, scaled to their budget:
Any amount is welcome and appreciated. None is required to be considered a MassIPL member congregation or to receive assistance.
