Announcing Our New Print Newsletter!

Dear Friends,

We’re excited to share that MassIPL has launched our brand-new print newsletter—and we want to make sure you’ve seen it! This newsletter highlights some of the work we're doing together to care for the Earth, from helping faith communities green their buildings to empowering youth leaders in Lawrence to take action on climate justice.

Inside this first edition, you’ll find:

  • A message from our Executive Director, Rev. Michael Reed, reflecting on the intersection of faith and climate action and how our collective efforts are making a difference.

  • A spotlight on how faith communities are cutting energy waste, unlocking significant savings, and reducing their carbon emissions with $3.3 million in MassSave incentives.

  • An update on our Youth Ambassador Program in Lawrence, where young people are learning to lead with purpose and bring climate action into their communities.

  • A call for connection, including invitations for new Executive Committee members to join us in shaping the future of our work and deepening our collective resolve in a time of chaos and challenge.

These stories are a small window into our work for faith and climate. They remind us that by working together, we can make a real, lasting impact for ourselves, our neighbors, and all Creation.

If you haven’t received the print version, don’t worry—you can download the digital version of the newsletter below using the big blue button.

Thank you for being part of this vital work. Together, we are responding to the climate crisis with action rooted in faith, justice, and a deep commitment to the power of interfaith cooperation.

We believe that when we work together, we not only achieve far more, but we strengthen our faith and values in the process.

With hope and resolve,

Your friends at Massachusetts Interfaith Power & Light
